Abu Dhabi’s National Day was set to celebrate the seven Emirates for the 44th time in 2021. We collaborated with Five Currents to elevate the narrative with a powerful theatrical performance.
Response
Every year, National Day celebrates unification, pride and the coming together of seven Emirates to form one nation. As one of the region’s most anticipated events, we needed an impressive spectacle that would capture both peace and power.
We captivated the live audience of thousands by elevating seven giant pearls high above the performance stage. These magnificent representations of the seven Emirates rose up and moved in synchrony to create a display of independence and togetherness.
The pearls brought to life the importance of leadership and unification, creating a strong image that celebrated the nation’s past and galvanised excitement for its future.
