We’re looking to urgently connect with people who are able to support our SEE MONSTER Technical and Engineering team on a temporary basis.

Key roles and capabilities:

  • Reporting to Technical / Engineering Directors / Department Project Managers.
  • Support of engineering, technical and production design / detailing of specific project elements.
  • 3D modelling of mechanical, scenic, and structural elements for production.
  • Production of high quality 2D engineering and design intent drawings for manufacture.
  • Strong understanding of onsite / workshop based manufacturing and assembly processes.
  • Experience of live project delivery.
  • Loves a challenge.



Just announced, UNBOXED: Creativity in the UK is a celebration of creativity taking place across the UK in 2022, designed to reach millions and bring people together. It features free, large-scale events, installations and globally accessible digital experiences in the UK’s most ambitious showcase of creative collaboration.

Presented by some of the brightest minds in science, technology, engineering, arts and maths, UNBOXED features ten major, multi-site and digital creative projects that share new ideas and possibilities for the future. Events and activities will take place in multiple locations, from the Outer Hebrides to Dover and from Omagh to Swansea, and across traditional and online media from 1 March to 2 October 2022.

UNBOXED: Creativity in the UK is funded and supported by the four governments of the UK and is commissioned and delivered in partnership with Belfast City Council, Creative Wales and Event Scotland.



SEE MONSTER will reimagine a decommissioned North Sea offshore platform in Weston-super-Mare, transforming the retired industrial structure into a large-scale public art installation that celebrates British weather in the coastal town of Weston-super-Mare. SEE MONSTER is part of UNBOXED: Creativity in the UK.

Located in the Tropicana, Weston-super-Mare, the arrival of SEE MONSTER aims to align with the emerging cultural landscape of the town. Drawing on Weston-super-Mare’s unique locality, the project aims to shine a light on the resilience of our forgotten coast, creating opportunities and generating new possibilities for the life of this retired structure.
