DOJA CAT, COACHELLA 2024

Bringing to Life a Puppeteered T-Rex for Doja Cat's Headline Performance at Coachella 2024.

Having successfully delivered two set stage pieces for Doja Cat’s Scarlet Tour, we were delighted when Silent House once again reached out, this time to produce a jaw-dropping, Jurassic spectacle for Doja’s showstopper performance at the 2024 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.

Our creative studio worked to a quick turnaround time, collaborating with a talented team of sculptors, scenic painters, and puppet specialists to bring this complex build to life. From foam sculpting and welding to hard coating and scenic painting, we designed and engineered a 12-metre skeletal marvel that wowed thousands of fans. With its swaying tail, trudging legs, and fearsome chomping skull, the T-Rex embodied Doja Cat’s unique, otherworldly aesthetic, adding a dramatic flair that left a lasting impression.

With our resident art installation Spectra bringing us back to the desert each year, it was fantastic to once again return to the valley and witness firsthand the audience’s reactions to our spine-tingling T-Rex.

The project was produced in collaboration with Silent House, Parker Genoway, and Brett Alan Nelson. A huge thank you to our incredible team for helping to make this project a reality.
